1972 MGB GT
Costello V8 : R365000

The Ken Costello factory in South England converted the 1800 MGB GT models to Rover 3,5 Litre engines. This particular MG is a MK2 conversion with a Costello manifold and rear facing Weber 40DCOE carburettor and as such retains the original bonnet. 5 speed Rover manual gearbox.

Only known example in South Africa and 1 of some 70 Costellos remaining worldwide. Approximately 225 conversions produced. Costello header tank and side fitted oil filter.

Recent new fabric to the sunroof, new radiator core and 14 inch electric fan. Front egg-crate grill is the authentic Costello grill, and Costello Certificate included.

15 inch Minilite mags fitted and Rosstyle as spare. Drives well and just over 29,300 Kilometres on the clock since being restored in 2006. Very good paintwork and interior.
