Sedgefield Classic Cars

1949 Plymouth
Special De Luxe 6 cylinder : R165000

In 1949 American car designs changed from the carry-over of pre-war models and were very stylish vehicles.

Genuine 76,210 Miles since 1949. This car was fully restored in 2000 in Johannesburg by Rudi Exner for Tony Endres. Then sold to Peter McEwen in Queenstown, next to Sheridan Renfield who owned the Plymouth for a number of years and also used the car on the 2006 Milligan Rally, then sold the a collector in the Limpopo area.

Drives very well indeed and reliable for long distance travelling to events.Plymouth 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed column shift gears. Was converted to 12 Volt Battery many years ago. Leather upholstery good with a bit of wear on  the front seat. Good paintwork but some of the colour has darkened on the bootlid. Still an exceptionally superb car with excellent woodgrain finish on dashboard and panels.
